General

  • Store in the original Ray-Ban case when not in use.

  • Clean with a microfiber cloth & mild lens cleaner. Avoid paper towels or clothing.

  • Keep away from extreme heat, salt water, and chemicals (perfume, hairspray).

By Frame Material

  • Plastic (Acetate/Nylon): Avoid leaving in hot cars; wipe daily to prevent sweat/oil buildup.

  • Metal: Dry immediately if exposed to water to prevent tarnishing.

  • Mixed Material: Follow both plastic & metal care; handle hinges gently.

By Lens Type

  • Classic/Standard: Use lens-safe spray only; avoid alcohol-based cleaners.

  • Polarized: Clean with water & microfiber only; do not use abrasive cleaners.

  • Gradient/Mirrored: Handle with care, as coatings can scratch easily.

  • Photochromic (Transitions): Store in shade when not worn; avoid prolonged UV exposure indoors (windows).

By Style

  • Aviator: Hold by the bridge, not the lenses, to avoid smudging.

  • Wayfarer/Clubmaster: Keep folded in case to protect hinges & arms.

  • Round/Hexagonal: Use both hands when removing to keep frame alignment.
